Where do we fish?
Fishing takes place in the immense delta formed by the Paraná River, at our Lodge, between rivers, canals, and streams. Within an area of 20 km from north to south and 30 km from west to east.
What have we caught?
The diversity of fish species is enormous. In our area, you'll find an abundance of the Dorado, famous for its aggressiveness and fighting spirit. There's also the Surubí, a large fish that fights hard until it's exhausted and we can finally harvest it. There are several other species of fish, such as Mandube, Moncholos, Armedos, Amarillos, and Paties.
How do we fish?
We board our fishing boats with outboard motors.
The angler can choose to fish with live bait or lures. The guide, depending on the river conditions and his or her experience, will choose to fish fixed points or let the boat drift. This technique is called "al garete."
It is important to know the current laws and regulations to avoid penalties and contribute to the conservation of fish resources. There are permitted and closed fishing areas, as well as species that are permitted during certain seasons or with certain restrictions. Respect the minimum and maximum catch sizes, as well as the maximum quantity allowed per angler. In some cases, such as with dorado, only sport fishing with mandatory catch-and-release is permitted. In general, a sport fishing license is required to fish in Santa Fé. Practice sport fishing responsibly, prioritizing resource conservation.
